Hi,

I have been using the SPA-3000 with Software Version:3.1.10(GWd) for months. We make very few outgoing calls as we use our mobiles.
However on the odd time we do make outgoing calls we offten get disconnected. This seams to happen when we get put on hold by the called person.

Tapping the phone seams to stop the drop out.

Looking at the SPA-3000 config page i found this

Last PSTN Disconnect Reason: PSTN Activity Timeout PSTN Activity Timer: 30000 (ms)

So what i want to know is how do i change this value, as i dont see it anywhere in the config.

Hope you can help
Regards

Paul

Hiya Paul,
The only thing that springs to mind on this - and it may be a red herring - you say this happens when you put people on hold - there isn't a setting on the 3000 along the lines of 'use silence for disconnection'? i.e if the line goes quiet (this could be either way) for a length of time it assumes that the other party has hung up - therefor disconnects the call?

Like I say - could be a red herring - but worth a look?

Cheers
Wayne.
